ICIC Mountaineers conquered Mt. Pulag

The ICIC Team
(L-R: Ria, Cathy, Justine, Leah, Poala, Zarah, Carrie, Nerissa, Anna, Ianne)

For the 4th time to summit Mt. Pulag, and for the 1st time via Ambangeg-Ambangeg, previous were Akiki. Another successful climb and of course with my friends namely: Richard Angliongto, Andrew Montemayor, Marc Chua, Reymond Tio, Angelo Bringino, Michael Bringino, Ryan Ignacio, Rafael Banaag, Carrie Batay, Zarah See, Justine See, Poala Solano, Anna Leah Silva, Nerissa Neri, Anna Dimerin, Ianne Santiago, Catherine Bringino and Ria Abion. Even thought the temperature dropped down to 4 degrees Celsius, and I myself have no more strength left to continue, still I see everyone's determined to reach the peak of Mt. Pulag, and that encouraged me to join them to reach the peak. Exactly February 21, 2010 at 4:43am in the morning we conquered the highest point of Luzon.

To have them join this climb was another experience for me, because its my 1st time to organize a climb and to lead a big group. I guess it went well. Godbless everyone and hope to see you again on our next climb.

Deuter Aircontact 55+10 Review

Just bought the new "Deuter Aircontact 55+10 backpack Spring 2010" for my climb this coming 3rd week of February. This model was designed to carry big loads without blowing out your back., and also installed a lot of pockets on top, side and bottom for easy access to help you get your gears. A very organized gear storage all in one package. The Aircontact System sits even more comfortable on the back at the same time optimizing the air flow.

I'm a little bit excited on our climb 2 weeks from now, getting ready to fix my gears and most importantly this new Deuter pack that I'll be using.
